Sudan and South Sudan together represent one of the most severe humanitarian crises on earth.\r\nPosition Overview SRF is seeking a Development Associate to work closely with the Senior Vice President in managing donor engagement, coordinating fundraising efforts, and supporting a wide range of development activities.\r\nThis is a remote position with a flexible schedule, ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Occasional travel may be required.\r\nThis is a high-trust role with room for professional growth and impact.\r\nKey Responsibilities Donor Engagement: Assist in drafting thank-you letters, email updates, and donor reports. Help coordinate personalized outreach to major and mid-level donors.\r\nFundraising Support: Prepare proposals, assist with grant submissions, and help organize fundraising campaigns.\r\nData & Records: Maintain accurate donor data using internal tracking systems. Generate reports, and track donor interactions.\r\nResearch: Identify new donors and funding opportunities. Compile background materials and briefing notes.\r\nSpecial Projects: Support the development and distribution of donor-facing materials, printed collateral, and digital content.\r\nAdministrative Support: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with travel logistics and internal planning.\r\nWhat We Offer Remote Work: Work from anywhere in the U.S.\r\nGrowing Organization: SRF is in a period of rapid growth, expanding fundraising efforts and increasing our field impact.
