If you are highly motivated, love challenging yourself, demand excellence, and love helping teams elevate to new heights, then this position is for you!\r\nResponsibilities\r\nAssemble and lead highly effective proposal development teams\r\nManage the process for generating responses to requests from potential customers including but not limited to: requests for quotes (RFQ), requests for information (RFI), requests for Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, and requests for proposal (RFP) responses\r\nCreate and drive proposal schedules as required, and work closely with the proposal team to maintain scheduled deliverables up to final proposal submittal\r\nLead and contribute to the writing of proposal content including the management, pricing, and technical volumes\r\nLead the development and review of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for proposal pricing\r\nCoordinate the answers of Fact-Finding questions received from proposal recipients\r\nWork with Business Development and other stakeholders, lead effective story-boarding and development of proposal strategies\r\nSupport the development of strategic win themes and discriminators\r\nCoordinate and lead major project meeting events such as Bid/No-bid Meetings, Kick-off Meetings, Strategy Meetings, Pricing Reviews, and Executive Reviews\r\nMaintain business metrics in support of SEAKR's business campaigns\r\nSupport and analyze debriefs, gathering client feedback, and help implement continuous improvements ideas\r\nQualifications\r\nA thorough understanding of proposal best practices, processes and tools, including how to convey messages and discriminators, use of a common voice and past performance, and ensuring responses to evaluation criteria are clearly met\r\nDemonstrated team leadership ability\r\nDemonstrated Engineering knowledge and the ability to interact with multiple Engineering disciplines\r\nDemonstrated ability leading cost and schedule creation for an Engineering effort\r\nStrong written and verbal skills\r\nStrong negotiation skills\r\nProficiency in MS Office Suite including MS Project, and proposal writing tools\r\nExperience writing, evaluating, and/or managing proposals\r\nDeveloping and adhering to a schedule\r\nDriven to achieve results, solve problems, and remove obstacles\r\nAbility to balance interpersonal skills and project management skills\r\nExcellent interpersonal skills (good listening, coaching, presenting, motivating, problem solving)\r\nAn active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph a plus or have the ability to obtain\r\nMinimum Requirements\r\nBachelors in Business Administration, Engineering, Communications or related field\r\nAt least 10 years of combined Engineering and proposal management experience in the space / aerospace industry is desired\r\nUS Citizenship\r\nAdditional Information\r\nCompensation: Base salary range is $130,000-170,000, depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus.
