The critical position involves working closely with the engineering team to design, build, and maintain our systems.\r\nLOCATION San Mateo, CA\r\nRESPONSIBILITIES Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for federal application deployments.\r\nManage and monitor infrastructure across federal cloud environments, including AWS GovCloud and Azure Government.\r\nImplement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.\r\nApply and enforce FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and FISMA security controls across all systems.\r\nMonitor system health, set up alerting, and respond to incidents in production federal environments.\r\nCollaborate with security teams to conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation.\r\nAutomate configuration management and environment provisioning.\r\nManage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker in secure, air-gapped, or limited-connectivity environments.\r\nMaintain detailed documentation for architecture, runbooks, and compliance artifacts.\r\nSupport Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and provide technical evidence for audits.\r\nWork with cross-functional teams including developers, security officers, and program managers.\r\nConduct code reviews and maintain coding standards for infrastructure scripts and pipelines.\r\nREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS MUST HAVE Minimum 10 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure engineering role.\r\nAt least 3 years of hands-on experience working within federal government or DoD environments.\r\nProven track record of managing production systems with high availability and strict compliance requirements.\r\nCitizenship Requirement: Applicants must be US citizens. This position requires access to federal systems subject to federal compliance regulations.
