The spirit of DIY and customization runs throughout every element of a Slate, because people should have control over how their trucks look, feel, and represent them.\nWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nWe are seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect – Procure to Pay (P2P) to own the end-to-end design and architecture of Slate’s procurement and supplier management processes as part of the company’s migration from NetSuite to SAP S/4HANA.\nReporting to Slate’s Head of ERP Systems, this role serves as the internal counterpart to our implementation partner’s Solution Architect and is accountable for establishing the long-term SAP Procure-to-Pay design strategy. The successful candidate will lead the architecture, configuration direction, and process design for SAP Materials Management (MM), Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics Invoice Verification, Supplier Master Data, and integration points with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Warehouse operations.\nAs the senior functional authority for Procure-to-Pay, this individual will ensure that SAP design decisions support operational scalability, strong financial controls, and efficient procurement execution across the enterprise. This is a permanent product team role, not a project-based assignment. The selected candidate will help launch the initial SAP S/4HANA platform and then own the ongoing evolution of Procure-to-Pay capabilities for years to come.\n\nWHAT YOU GET TO DO\nLead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA MM solutions across procurement and inventory management processes.\nDefine end-to-end solution architecture aligned with enterprise business requirements and SAP best practices.\nProvide functional leadership for SAP MM-related projects, assessments, enhancements, and transformation initiatives.\nDrive standardization, process simplification, and adoption of SAP S/4HANA capabilities.\nWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM\nBachelor’s degree in information systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.\n10+ years of SAP MM experience, including multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations.\n3+ years of SAP S/4HANA solution architecture experience.\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA Green field implementation or transformation programs.\nStrong understanding of procurement and supply chain business processes.\nA clear, defensible point of view on clean-core and fit-to-standard design, with the credibility to serve as the implementation partner's counterpart and hold the line against unnecessary customization.\nExperience writing functional specifications, leading finance-side user acceptance testing, and partnering with implementation partners and IT through go-live and stabilization.\nFamiliarity with SOX requirements for finance systems, ideally in a pre-IPO or recently public-company environment.\nComfortable in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment building a system rather than maintaining one.\nSalary Range:\nThe compensation for this position is the range Slate reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; work location; and other relevant business and organizational factors.\nBase Pay Range (Annual)\n$171,191.48 - $285,319.13 USD Annual\nAdditional Compensation and Benefits: Slate offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
