This position will develop and execute systems and tools for creating hardware budgets at all levels (aircraft assembly, subassembly, piece part, manufacturing processes, material, subcontractor, outside services, quality) and tracking and reporting of budget vs actuals on a recurring basis to relevant stakeholders and executive leadership. Responsible for decisions that have an extended impact on outcomes, are long-lasting, and may influence the future course of the organization.\n\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nUnder minimal supervision, implements, develops and applies planning, tracking, and analysis procedures for reporting on projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk.\nCollaborate with management and project team(s) in the assignment and assessment of project goals to meet larger and more strategic business objectives.\nOversee and monitor project schedule, timelines, and milestones from initiation to delivery to meet delivery goals.\nTakes overall aircraft budget and develops budgets at a piece part level, meets with production leads to ensure budget is adequate, and on a routine basis tracks and reports to Manufacturing stakeholders budget vs actuals analysis at all levels of hardware build.\nManage work of project management staff, providing technical support and direction when necessary.\nEstablish operating policies and procedures that impact project(s). Interpret company-wide policies and procedures as they relate to the project(s).\nDevelop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation. May make presentations to internal and external audiences as needed regarding project status.\nEstablishes and maintains cost/schedule baseline, develops Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and related dictionaries, performs Estimates At Completion..\nEnsure compliance with environmental and other regulations.\nIdentify and assess project issues and develop solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals, and business objectives.\nImplements and develops Earned Value Methodologies, performs related variance analysis and works with Program Managers and Senior Technical personnel to ensure uniform application of Earned Value procedures.\nDevelops and implements reporting procedures to report project status and valuation of work in progress as well as tracking procedures for contract deliverables.\nProvide leadership, direction and guidance to employees working on assigned project. Effectively communicate project expectations and objectives to team members and stakeholders in a timely fashion.\nInterpret and administer policies and procedures that impact project(s).\nParticipate in, lead segments of or provide overall management for the request for proposal (RFP) process to generate new business.\nMaintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.\nResponsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
