The RBT provides direct, one-on-one behavioral intervention services to clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges.The RBT is responsible for carrying out skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs under closesupervision, maintaining accurate data, and fostering meaningful progress for each client in alignmentwith their personalized treatment goals.Key Responsibilities:Implement individualized ABA programs and behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervisingBCBA.Provide direct behavioral services across settings such as homes, clinics, schools, and communityenvironments.Accurately collect, record, and graph data on client behaviors and skill acquisition targets.Follow specific teaching procedures (e.g., discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, taskanalysis, prompting, and prompt fading) to promote learning and independence.Maintain consistent communication with supervising BCBA regarding client progress, session outcomes, and any concerns related to program implementation.Assist in the generalization of skills across different environments and individuals (e.g., home tocommunity, therapist to caregiver).Support clients in developing communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills through positiveand evidence-based methods.Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development to ensure qualityservice delivery and continuous learning.Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with the BACB RBT Ethics Code, includingconfidentiality, client dignity, and appropriate professional boundaries.Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other team members to support progress andconsistency of treatment.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (preferred).Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior AnalystCertification Board (BACB), or willingness to obtain certification within a designated timeframe.Minimum of 6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities orbehavioral needs preferred.Ability to work collaboratively under supervision and accept feedback to improve performance.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and observational skills.Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent session schedules.Basic proficiency in data collection systems, documentation, and use of digital tools (e.g., tablets, data entry apps).Supervision and Growth:RBTs receive ongoing supervision, feedback, and professional development opportunities from a BCBA.Growth into advanced clinical roles or leadership positions within Collaborate ABA is supported through continuing education and performance excellence.Compensation and Benefits:Pay will be determined based on the candidate’s education, relevant experience, and qualifications.
