Pay starts at $19.40 per hour and depends on experience.Mold Operator Information:\r\nThe Mold Operator position reports directly to the Production Manager or Facility Lead and must work in coordination with co-workers to be effective. For more information on Horton, Inc. please visit our web site at www.hortonww.com.\r\nResponsibilitiesMold Operator Responsibilities:\r\nWill be expected to be able to perform daily tasks.\r\nRead and follow instructions on routings and work instructions for each job.\r\nChecks stock bins for adequate supplies of sub-assembly, parts and any other items needed.\r\nComplete all departmental paperwork, such as routings, assembly tickets, downtime tracking sheets, production status sheets and checklists.\r\nFollow work instructions or routings.\r\nPackaging of product, if applicable.\r\nResponsible for the safe operation of machinery used for assembly components. Machinery may vary from hand tools to large stamping or molding presses as determined by area.\r\nMay be required to use quality inspection tools such as gauges, micrometers and/or calipers.\r\nContinuously inspect part quality.\r\nMaintain production rate on each job.Load and unload presses when ran in manual mode.\r\nWill be responsible for the operation and set-up of all simple machines within their assigned area\r\nMove pallets with assemblies to designated staging areas.\r\nEnsure data accuracy before entering scrap/production into Oracle.\r\nInspecting presses for any mechanical issues and report immediately to leadership.\r\nElevate issues to management, including discrepancies.\r\nAs with everyone on the team, other duties may be assigned to support the overall success of the company.QualificationsMold Operator Qualifications:\r\nPrevious relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.\r\nMust be able to work 3rd shift and have reliable transportation.\r\nAttention to detail is a must.\r\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work well in a group and individually.\r\nSome degree of mechanical aptitude is required.\r\nMust be authorized to work in the United States.
