Our organization is growing, and we believe your career should too.\nProject Overview:\nProject Solutions Inc. is seeking a qualified Construction Management Representative to provide construction management and quality assurance oversight for a National Park Service roadway preservation project at Gateway National Recreation Area's Sandy Hook Unit in Highlands, New Jersey. The work includes monitoring and documenting the contractor's resurfacing and preservation activities on Hartshorne Drive and Atlantic Drive, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.\nThis role is contingent upon award of project.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nObserve and document daily construction activities to ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable codes\nMonitor the contractor's Quality Control Plan and assist the Government with Quality Assurance activities throughout the project\nReview and track submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), project correspondence, and contractor requests for additional cost or time\nConduct and support project meetings, prepare agendas and meeting minutes, and provide weekly progress reports to the Government\nMonitor site safety, verify compliance with the contractor's Safety Plan and OSHA requirements, and immediately report unsafe conditions\nPrepare and maintain project documentation, including daily inspection reports, photographic records, deficiency tracking lists, payroll reviews, and progress payment verification\nAssist the COR with cost estimates, schedule reviews, construction modifications, testing coordination, project closeout activities, and resolution of construction issues or dispute\nRequired Education, Skills, and Abilities:\nEducation/Certification:\nOSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training required\nKnowledge of construction practices, industry standards, regulations, and codes required\nNo specific degree requirement or additional professional certifications are required\nExperience:\nExperience observing and documenting construction activities to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, contract requirements, and quality standards\nExperience performing construction inspections, tracking deficiencies, and preparing daily reports and photographic documentation of project progress\nExperience reviewing and tracking construction submittals, RFIs, contractor correspondence, and other project documentation\nExperience monitoring construction safety practices and compliance with contractor safety plans and OSHA requirements\nExperience supporting project administration activities, including schedule reviews, certified payroll reviews, progress payments, and contractor coordination\nExperience assisting with construction cost estimating, contract modifications, negotiations, and project reporting\nExperience coordinating with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders throughout construction through project closeout\nKey Attributes & Skills:\nStrong knowledge of construction practices, paving work, applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards\nAbility to monitor quality assurance activities and evaluate contractor compliance with plans, specifications, and quality control requirements\nStrong construction inspection, observation, documentation, and reporting skills\nKnowledge of construction safety requirements and OSHA regulations, with the ability to identify and document safety issues\nExperience reviewing and managing project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, schedules, payrolls, and progress reports\nAbility to assist with cost estimating, cost negotiations, schedule analysis, and technical writing\nStrong communication and coordination skills for working with the National Park Service, contractors, park staff, and other project stakeholders\nProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent project scheduling and management software\nWhat Does PSI Offer You?\nThree options for medical plans plus dental and vision insurance offerings\n24/7 healthcare access to telehealth services for your convenience\nHSA\nCompany life insurance options for you and your family\nShort-term and long-term disability offerings\nPLUS an $800 monthly allowance is provided to offset your PSI insurance premium costs\n401(k) with a 4% employer match\nGenerous PTO, paid-federal holidays, and sick leave\nAlways the opportunity for professional development\nThe information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor are they intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
