This role requires deep technical expertise across Windows Server, Entra/M365, Active Directory, Nutanix, Rubrik, Okta, and experience with SCCM and Intune, along with the ability to drive architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and influence long-term infrastructure strategy. You will play a key role in ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of our core systems.\r\nWhat You Will Do Architecture & Engineering Leadership Design and implement advanced Windows Server solutions, including clustering, high availability, and performance optimization.\r\nArchitect and maintain Active Directory environments, including domain design, GPO strategy, identity lifecycle, and security hardening.\r\nLead engineering efforts for Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure, including cluster design, capacity planning, and performance tuning.\r\nOwn the architecture and operational excellence of Rubrik backup and recovery platforms, ensuring enterprise-grade data protection and DR readiness.\r\nServe as a subject matter expert for Okta, driving SSO integrations, MFA strategy, and identity governance initiatives.\r\nOperational Excellence Oversee the health, performance, and security of Windows and virtualized systems across the enterprise.\r\nLead root-cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues and drive long-term remediation.\r\nDevelop and maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams.\r\nSecurity & Compliance Implement and enforce security baselines, patching strategies, and hardening standards across Windows and identity platforms.\r\nPartner with security teams to support audits, vulnerability remediation, and compliance frameworks (SOC, ISO, NIST, etc.).\r\nAutomation & Modernization Develop automation using PowerShell and other tools to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve consistency.\r\nContribute to cloud-readiness initiatives, hybrid identity, and infrastructure-as-code adoption.\r\nEvaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations that align with business and security goals.\r\nCollaboration & Mentorship Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including networking, security, DevOps, and application teams.\r\nCommunicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\r\nTo Be Successful You Will Have 7–10+ years of experience in Windows systems engineering or enterprise infrastructure roles.\r\nExpert-level proficiency with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Microsoft Entra/M365, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP.\r\nExpertise with Nutanix (AHV, Prism, cluster operations).\r\nProficiency in Rubrik backup and recovery solutions.\r\nStrong Okta administration experience (SSO, MFA, lifecycle automation).\r\nStrong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.\r\nSolid understanding of virtualization, networking, storage, and security fundamentals.\r\nPreferred experience with SQL, SCCM, and Intune.\r\nEmployment Eligibility LI-Hybrid Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of any additional employment visas at this time.\r\nEqual Employment Opportunity Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender perception or identity, national origin, disability status, age, marital status, protected veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law. iRobot is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with physical and mental disabilities.
