Responsibilities may include, however not limited to:BathingDressingPersonal CareMeal PreparationMedication RemindersErrands/ShoppingRespite/Companion EngagementLight HousekeepingLaundryMobility and Transfer Assistance Pet CareAlzheimer and Dementia CareParkinson’s careHospiceService RequirementsConsistent ability to get to and from client assignments (car, public transportation, etc.)Commitment and reliabilityAble to provide best in class customer serviceAbility to work with a team and independentlyFlexibility and solution orientedContinuous communication with administrative teamRequirementsHome Care Services Bureau (PER ID#) registrationLivescan/Fingerprinting clearance; clean criminal backgroundCurrent tuberculosis/TB clearance (either skin test, Xray or blood test)Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. (2 forms of I-9 Compliant IDs; examples: Driver’s License, California ID, Social Security Card; US passport) English language proficiency is a mustAt least 1 year of (non-medical) professional experience caring for elderly or disabled adults and/or any related caregiving experience.Desired QualificationsBasic Smartphone and technical skillsBilingual language proficiency in Tagalog, Spanish, Chinese or Russian languagesCertified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Home Health Aides (HHA) are highly desirable but not requiredBasic computer skills are highly advantageous but not mandatedStudents and/or retirees of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) and Registered Nurses (RN) backgrounds are also encouraged to applyPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 35lbs or more with proper use of body mechanics – training providedAbility to lift, transfer, push/pull, reach, bend, walk, maneuver, and reposition.Flexible HoursPart-Time, Full-Time, 12-Hour Shifts, Short Shifts, Weekends or Live-In.
