You'll be responsible for the full product lifecycle — design, prototype, development, release, deployment, and maintenance of all tools developed by the team.\nIn addition, you'll modify other teams' tools and integrate products developed by other teams into the toolkit for high-impact results. You'll work closely with analysts, operators, and other software engineers to define new requirements and provide tactical support to operations — including quick-reaction operational support alongside the longer development lifecycle of more feature-rich capabilities.\nResponsibilities\nAugment existing tools.\n\nDerive, document, and analyze requirements.\n\nBuild prototypes to demonstrate understanding of project requirements.\n\nProduce end-to-end toolsets that can operate within operational constraints.\n\nProvide technical consulting support across various software products and technologies, advising customers on direction.\n\nTake part in peer code reviews.\n\nSkills Requirements\nProduce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python, with explicit experience in network programming.\n\nProvide support for fielded software systems.\n\nAbility to coordinate and communicate with users of differing technical knowledge — including operators, analysts, and other developers — to deliver finished products to the customer.\n\nReverse engineering experience.\n\nFamiliarity with Git and Subversion.\n\nAtlassian Tools (Confluence, Jira, Bamboo).\n\nNice to Haves\nExperience with any of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust.\n\nExperience developing software in Linux, Windows, and embedded environments.\n\nExperience with Vulnerability Research and Exploit Development.\n\nExperience with malware reverse engineering.\n\nSolid understanding of cryptography.\n\nPrior experience in cyber operations or capability development.\n\nCompensation & Employment Policy\nSalary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements.
