Operations Manager

Traditions Performance Firearms®, a leader in the outdoor industry, is looking for an Operations Manager to join their team!Responsibilities:Warehouse & Operations ManagementOversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, production, and inventory flow.Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of all customer and dealer ordersManage and optimize the flow of orders from intake through shipmentOversee and manage the Buyer/Planner to align inventory levels with demand and production schedules.Monitor key performance metrics and implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracyProcess ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, workflows, and operational processesImplement best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service levelsLead initiatives focused on continuous improvement and operational excellenceCompliance & Regulatory OversightEnsure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to firearms and shippingMaintain proper documentation and procedures for regulated products and shipmentsOversee compliance with OSHA standards and workplace safety requirementsConduct regular audits and training to ensure adherence to all compliance standardsFacility & Maintenance ManagementOversee all building maintenance, repairs, and vendor relationshipsEnsure facility operations meet all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsCoordinate preventative maintenance programs and address any operational issues proactivelyLeadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop warehouse and operations staffEstablish clear expectations, performance goals, and accountability across the teamFoster a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvementQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain/Operations, Logistics, Business or a similar field5+ years of Operations Manager Experience5+ years of managerial experienceWell-developed decision-making, planning, organizational, problem-resolution and supervisory skills.Demonstrated ability to manage time and resources effectively, measure and monitor progress and redirect efforts as needed.Demonstrated success managing teams and driving performance in a fast-paced industrial setting.Strong leadership and communication skillsCommitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, etc as needed.Benefits:Competitive Salary/Compensation, Commensurate with ExperienceMedical & Dental BenefitsPaid Vacations & Holidays401K Plus Company MatchWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.This position is located in Old Saybrook, Connecticut and is a full-time position.We look forward to receiving your application.
