{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"aec1725020063293fc66729a","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/aec1725020063293fc66729a","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/aec1725020063293fc66729a","title":"Quality Program Engineer","description":".jobDisplayShell { max-width: 1000px !important; }\n\nReady to take on meaningful challenges and shape the next generation of mobility?\n\nJoining OPmobility means stepping into a global group with a purpose to keep people and goods moving safely, smarter, and sustainably everywhere.\n\nContract Details :\nJob Title : Quality Program Engineer\nType of contract : Long-term At-will\nExpected Hiring Date : August 2026\nScope : NAO Region.\n\nResponsibilities :\nThe Quality Program Engineer (QPE) is responsible for coordinating project quality related tasks\nAct as the quality representative as part of the Core Development team\nComplete APQP Deliverables\nAssure successful on time Product Part Approval Process (PPAP) submission\nRepresent external and internal customers on the platform\nWork is performed in a fast-paced environment within tight time constraints\nThis position would support: Americas C Power Development Team\nMinimal travel will be required: 15% is Typical\nThis is a salaried Engineering classification\n\nResponsibility 1: Core Team Quality Leadership\n\nServe as the Quality representative on the Core Development Team.\nEstablish, coordinate, and manage program-specific quality tasks with the Core Team.\nDefine, maintain, and update internal and external project quality objectives, including the Quality Dashboard.\n\nResponsibility 2: APQP, FMEA, and Quality File Management\n\nParticipate in and/or moderate design and process FMEAs.\nParticipate in and/or moderate meetings to select Significant/Critical Characteristics (SC/CC) and Key Product/Control Characteristics (KPC/KCC).\nDefine and support the project quality file in accordance with internal and external requirements, including control plans for prototypes, pre-serial products, and first serial production.\n\nResponsibility 3: Trial Data Analysis and Corrective Actions\n\nAnalyze data and identify sources of process variation.\nInitiate corrective actions related to tolerances, dimensions, production processes, and other quality concerns.\nCommunicate trial activity data and results to the Core Team.\n\nResponsibility 4: Quality Risk Management, Audits, and Customer Interface\n\nCoordinate and/or perform internal and external pre-production process audits.\nBuild and maintain project-related relationships with the appropriate customer representatives.\nIdentify, escalate, and communicate quality risks and deviations within the project scope.\nExercise the authority to stop production and/or program design activities when unacceptable violations or quality risks are identified.\nCoach and guide Core Team members on the use of quality tools and product standards.\nPrepare for and participate in INPro, Advanced Product Quality Process, or similar review meetings.\nRepresent Quality during the engineering change approval process through SOP.\n\nIntegrated Management System :\nFor everyone out of MACO, Region Leadership Teams and Plant Managers :\n\nWithin his/her scope of responsibility, he/she respects the standards and rules in terms of Quality, Safety and Environment contributing to the IMS process management and improvement\n\nFor Managers, in addition to previous one::\nAs a manager, he /she ensures that his/her team is informed and trained about Quality, Safety and Environment requirements and respects the related rules.
