This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage job sites, guide junior technicians, and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead installation and service of access control, video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion alarm, and structured cabling systems\n\nRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications\n\nManage daily job site activities, including coordinating with general contractors, project managers, and other trades\n\nSupervise and mentor field technicians, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to company standards\n\nPerform system programming, testing, troubleshooting, and final commissioning\n\nEnsure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and project requirements\n\nMaintain accurate documentation, including as-builts, service reports, and material usage\n\nCommunicate project progress, challenges, and solutions with internal teams and clients\n\nAssist with material planning, inventory, and job costing when needed\n\nQualifications:\n\nValid Texas Security Alarm License (or ability to obtain)\n\n3–5+ years of experience in commercial security or low-voltage installation\n\nStrong knowledge of access control systems (e.g., Brivo, ZKTeco or similar platforms)\n\nExperience with IP-based video surveillance systems and networking fundamentals\n\nAbility to lead a crew and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment\n\nProficient in reading construction drawings and technical diagrams\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\n\nValid driver’s license and reliable transportation\n\nAbility to pass background check\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience working on commercial construction projects\n\nOSHA certification (10 or 30)\n\nManufacturer certifications (access control, CCTV, or structured cabling)\n\nKnowledge of fire alarm integration is a plus\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nCompetitive pay based on experience\n\nOpportunities for advancement and leadership growth\n\nOngoing training and certifications\n\nSteady pipeline of commercial projects in the Houston area\n\nA team-oriented environment that values professionalism and quality work\n\nMoore Security Solutions provides dependable, full-scope security and low-voltage services tailored specifically for general contractors.
