This role focuses on hardware support, cabling, asset management, and coordination with remote engineering and facilities teams.\r\nDuties and Responsibilities\r\nPerform hands and feet support for server, network, and infrastructure tasks\r\nInstall, rack, and cable hardware per client standards\r\nRun, label, and troubleshoot structured cabling (copper and fiber)\r\nAssist with server builds, hardware installs, and drive swaps\r\nVerify equipment status (LEDs, connectivity, basic diagnostics)\r\nSupport Level 2/Level 3 teams with troubleshooting activities\r\nTrack and manage asset inventory, moves/adds/changes (MACs)\r\nHandle equipment shipping/receiving and maintain accurate records\r\nExecute work orders within defined service windows and change control processes\r\nMaintain data center cleanliness and adhere to safety standards\r\nCoordinate closely with facilities teams for power, space, and environmental needs\r\nSkills and Qualifications\r\nMinimum 1 to 3+ years of data center operations or IT support experience\r\nHands-on experience with servers, racks, and network equipment (switches, firewalls)\r\nHands-on experience with basic networking and cabling standards\r\nHands-on experience with data center infrastructure (PDUs, UPS, rack layouts)\r\nFamiliarity with asset tracking and inventory management\r\nFamiliarity with basic OS interaction and remote management tools (e.g., iLO/DRAC)\r\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\r\nAbility to follow direction and communicate effectively with technical teams\r\nComfortable working onsite in a structured, process-driven environment\r\nExperience with SAN/NAS environments preferred\r\nKnowledge of network topology and redundancy concepts preferred\r\nPrior experience supporting enterprise or colocation data centers preferred\r\nStrong attention to detail and reliability\r\nAbility to execute tasks independently while following established procedures\r\nTeam-oriented mindset with solid communication skills\r\nWage Range\r\nThe rate for this position is between $26.25 - $35.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher.
