Innovien is supporting a high-priority national missile defense program in its active build phase — one of the most consequential flight test campaigns in U.S. defense right now. We're hiring a Range Safety Engineer who's already done this work and already knows the people. Range safety is relationship-driven by nature: the supplier, the customer, and the range office all have to be aligned before anything leaves the pad. We need someone who walks in day one with that network built.What You'll DoOwn RCC 319 and RCC 321 compliance across all program flight test campaignsPlan flight termination system requirements and lead FTS integration effortsCoordinate directly with range safety offices at every test site the program operatesManage the supplier, customer, and range office relationship through safety approvalsSupport explosive safety, hazard analysis, debris analysis, and flight corridor planningBrief leadership and customer stakeholders on range safety status and riskWhat You Bring5–10 years of range safety experience on a missile or rocket programWorking knowledge of RCC 319 and RCC 321 documentationHands-on experience with flight termination systems, explosive safety, or test range security officer functionsExisting working relationship with at least one major range safety office (Vandenberg, Redstone, Pax River, or equivalent)Active U.S. Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship requiredNice to HavePrior role as a Test Range Security Officer or Range Safety OfficerFlight test campaign experience at Vandenberg, Cape Canaveral, White Sands, or other DoD rangesMilitary background in missile range operations, weapons safety, or EODFamiliarity with hazard analysis, debris analysis, and flight corridor planningActive TS or ongoing TS investigationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or related fieldDetailsActive U.S. Secret clearance required; U.S. citizenship required100% onsite — Huntsville, ALW2 employment with Innovien Solutions2-year contract, start targeted for late June 2025
