Maintenance Electrician

We' re hiring a Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established metal manufacturing facility in the New Market area. If you' re experienced with high-voltage systems, PLCs, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced industrial environment, this one' s for you. What You' ll Be Doing: • Performing electrical maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty industrial equipment. • Diagnosing and solving electrical issues using tools like voltmeters and schematics. • Installing logic controllers, proximity sensors, operator panels, and more. • Upgrading systems for safety compliance and operational efficiency. • Working with AC/DC drive systems (up to 600 volts). • Reading and interpreting complex schematics and designing moderately complex circuits. • Making small PLC program adjustments to enhance operations. • Partnering with maintenance crews to keep production running smoothly. What We' re Looking For: • Experience in a manufacturing or production plant environment. • Confidence working with both building and equipment electrical systems. • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards. • Ability to train others and work independently when needed. • Strong problem-solving mindset and safety-first attitude. Schedule: • Full-time, Evening Shift • 8-hour shifts, with consistent 40-hour weeks • Must be available for night shift
