This role is intentionally structured to split time between process engineering responsibilities and hands‑on mechatronics / automation support, with a strong emphasis on working directly with production equipment on the factory floor.\n\nThis position is ideal for an engineer with 2–3 years of experience who is comfortable troubleshooting automation, supporting equipment, programming and owning day‑to‑day process performance in a manufacturing environment.\n\nSHIFT: 1st Shift\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\nProcess Engineering\nSupport and improve manufacturing processes with regard to yield, quality, and throughput\nMonitor process performance and assist with defining operating limits and controls\nParticipate in root cause investigations related to process variation or equipment issues\nSupport process documentation, work instructions, and controlled change activities\nInitiate and maintain Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)\nProcess characterization and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)\nSupport manufacturing by aiding in repair of technical equipment to minimize downtime\nSupport OpEx and Ops with Continuous Improvement Initiatives\n\nMechatronics & Equipment Support\nSupport, modify, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, including:\nRobotics (e.g., Epson or similar)\nManufacturing e-test software\nEquipment control and support software\nTroubleshoot issues involving electrical, mechanical, sensor, and software interfaces\nRead and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams\nSupport equipment upgrades, improvements, and commissioning activities\nInterface with technicians, maintenance, and engineering peers to resolve production issues\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related discipline\n2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment\nExperience with:\nC#, VB, Python, or PLC adjacent programming\nIndustrial robots (Epson preferred)\nManufacturing test systems\nBasic PLC data interaction or industrial communications\nFamiliarity with SPC, Lean, and continuous improvement activities\n\nBENEFITS\nCompetitive Pay with Bonus Potential\nEmployee Stock Ownership\n20 Vacation Days + 10 Holidays\nLow-Cost Medical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Life Insurance\nFlex Spending Accounts\n401k with Company Match\nWellness Incentive Program\nEmployee Assistance Program\nProfessional Development & Career Advancement Pathways\nTuition Assistance Program\nQuarterly & Personal Performance Bonus Opportunities\n\nSALARY RANGE: $67,000-$97,000.
