C++ / Python Programmer

Waltonen is seeking a hands-on Programmer to develop internal tools, workflow automation systems, and intelligent business applications that improve operational efficiency across the organization.Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain internal tools, agents, and workflow automation systemsBuild applications that support engineering, operations, manufacturing, and business functionsDevelop intelligent workflow automation solutions to streamline repetitive or manual processesCreate and integrate tools for internal knowledge retrieval, reporting, process execution, and decision supportDevelop software applications and backend systems using Python, C, C++, Java, and related technologiesIntegrate technologies, APIs, databases, and business systems into existing infrastructureBuild and deploy scalable production-ready and automation systemsCollaborate across departments to identify and automation opportunitiesTroubleshoot, optimize, and maintain software performance, scalability, reliability, and securityResearch and implement emerging tools, frameworks, and technologiesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field3–5 years of software development experienceStrong programming skills in Python, C / C++, Java, etcExperience with AI/ML technologies, APIs, and system integrationsUnderstanding of workflow automation, Large Language Models (LLMs), Software architecture and scalable system designExperience with Git/version control systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and execute projects with minimal oversightPreferred QualificationsExperience developing automation systems.
