Automatic degree day, period accounts, days between deliveries or will call.\nEstablish delivery frequencies to create efficient drops, 60% of tank capacity\nReview inefficient deliveries, making corrections to customer’s accounts forecast to improve efficiency\nManage and maintain service center delivery zones to support route efficiency\nCreate service center daily driver delivery schedules and routes\nOptimize delivery routes and driver efficiency by clustering deliveries\nManage driver schedules to maintain compliance with DOT hours of service\nCommunication with drivers on routing and delivery instructions\nReview any deliveries that would indicate a customer run out\nPerform additional duties as needed\nAdditional Notes\n\nHours of operation: Department is staffed in shifts, M-F, 7:00am – 6:00pm (EST)\nWork shifts can vary during winter months M-Sat 7:00am – 8:00pm to meet increased customer activities and needs.\nWillingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and evenings\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.\nWhat you bring:\n\nAssociate degree or equivalent experience / education\n3 – 5 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or route planning preferred\nStrong analytical skills to support forecasting fuel needs, delivery scheduling, route optimization\nKnowledge of DOT hours of service regulations\nAbility to assign work and communicate effectively with driver team\nWork in a fast-paced customer service organization, meet deadlines, constructively resolve issues\nHighly proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel and database skills\nLegal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening\nSKILLS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership skills, team player, quality and service focus, problem solving and time management skills, understanding of software systems and logistics principles, and the ability to work effectively across organizational lines to achieve results.\n\nPay Transparency:\nThe hourly rate for this position is $24 - $28 per hour.\n\nThis role will be eligible for overtime pay once scheduled work week hours are met.\n\nPlease note the compensation information shown above is a general guideline only.
