This position is assigned with preparing parts for the Shipping Department to send to our customers.\nKEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:\nOperates all equipment and tools with the utmost attention to safety and professionalism.\n· Cuts and loops springs.\n· Maintains inventory of springs.\n· Assembles finished parts as required.\n· Packages parts for shipping and ensures appropriate paperwork is completed.\n· May operate equipment to drill pin holes and dress or deburr parts.\n· Examines parts for acceptability of finish.\n· Coordinates order flow with Shipping Department.\n· Other duties as assigned.\nSKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS:\n· Requires manual dexterity and fine motor skills.\n· Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended durations.\n· Ability to operate power equipment including drills and skin packing machine.\n· Ability to read scale to 1/16 of an inch.\n· High attention to detail and accuracy.\nMINIMUM EDUCATION:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nMINIMUM EXPERIENCE:\nA minimum of 2 years of related manufacturing environment and work experience preferred.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n· Exerts up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
