Our work helps ensure the safety, quality, and reliability of products that impact everyday life.Job DescriptionThe Bioprocess Lab Support Technician plays a critical role in supporting upstream bioprocessing and cell culture operations within a development laboratory. This position focuses on maintaining lab readiness, preparing equipment, and assisting scientific teams with experimental setup and execution.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in bioprocessing and biopharmaceutical development, particularly within mammalian cell culture environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and workspaces to support daily operationsManage inventory of lab supplies, reagents, and consumables; coordinate reordering to maintain stock levelsSupport upstream lab activities, including assembling 2L bioreactors for process development experimentsAutoclave glassware and bioreactors prior to cell culture useAssist scientists with experimental setup and basic lab tasksMaintain accurate documentation of lab activities and equipment usageCollaborate with lab staff and support teams to ensure efficient workflow and lab readinessQualificationsPrior experience working in a laboratory environment (academic or industry)Exposure to cell culture or aseptic technique is a plusExperience with bioreactors (e.g., 2L scale), Nova Flex, or blood gas analyzers (BGA) is preferredStrong organizational and time management skillsClose attention to detail and the ability to follow established proceduresAssociate’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience requiredAuthorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional InformationWhat to Expect in the Hiring Process: 10-15 Minute Phone Interview with Region Recruiter45-60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager and/or Group Leader45-60 Meeting In-Person. on-site to meet with the Team The position is on-site, full-time, first shift, Monday through Friday.
