Our clients include McDonald’s, Starbucks, Sprouts, IKEA, Walmart, and other nationally recognized brands.\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager with grocery, supermarket, big-box retail, or similar multi-site construction experience to join our team and support a national remodel grocery program.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nAs a Construction Project Manager, you will serve as an Owner’s Representative and extension of our client’s design and construction team, overseeing multiple grocery/supermarket projects simultaneously. This is an ideal opportunity for a Project Manager who understands the unique demands of grocery and big-box construction and enjoys managing projects from pre-construction through completion.\n\nYou will oversee general contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and other project partners while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the client's standards. You will have a direct impact on the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects while partnering closely with the client and Sevan's internal teams.\n\nEssential Roles and Responsibilities:\n\nServe as the Owner's Representative throughout the full project lifecycle.\nManage multiple grocery/supermarket construction projects and locations simultaneously.\nLead projects through pre-construction, bidding, permitting, construction, turnover, and closeout.\nCoordinate and oversee general contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, vendors, and other project stakeholders.\nMonitor project schedule, budget, scope, quality, and safety.\nReview construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, schedules, bids, and other project documentation.\nReview bid results and provide recommendations to the client.\nConfirm and monitor permitting requirements and project milestones.\nConduct regular jobsite visits and monitor construction progress and quality.\nReview and manage change orders, pay applications, invoicing, and project costs.\nIdentify potential project risks and proactively develop solutions related to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and scope.\nLead and participate in project and client meetings.\nProvide clear, consistent weekly project reporting and communication.\nCoordinate punch list, turnover, and final project closeout.\nBuild strong working relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and vendors.\nServe as a trusted advisor and day-to-day construction resource for the client.\n\nQualifications:\n\n7+ years of construction multi-site project management experience.\nGrocery, supermarket, big-box retail, or comparable large-format retail construction experience is strongly preferred.\nExperience managing remodel store construction is highly critical for this role.\nExperience managing multiple projects or locations as part of a larger program or rollout.\nStrong understanding of construction processes including pre-construction, estimating/bidding, permitting, scheduling, construction, change management, and closeout.\nExperience working with general contractors, architects, engineers, and other construction partners.\nStrong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, scopes, schedules, budgets, and contracts.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.\nStrong communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.\n\nAbout Sevan:\n\nSevan Multi-Site Solutions is a veteran-owned business that provides construction, program management, real estate & site development, and architecture & engineering services for restaurant, grocery, fuel and convenience store, retail, and government sectors nationwide.
