This role is ideal for a self-starter who can work with limited structure, engages take holders, and develop clear workflows and business documentation from unstructured or non-existent processes. The Sr. Data Analyst must possess both business and technical aptitude, demonstrating the ability to analyze operations, provide insights, and support decision-making.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIncludes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):\n\nWork with business teams to evaluate, document, and structure workflows where processes are undefined or inefficient\nConduct stakeholder interviews and data analysis to create usable business documentation that drives operational improvements\nAnalyze business operations, vendor engagements, and third-party partnerships to support strategic decision-making\nContribute to full and partial business process documentation for cross-functional initiatives\nBuild insights from limited data, leveraging stakeholder input to develop meaningful recommendations\nWork on multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of quality insights in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments\nCollaborate with technical and non-technical teams to align business needs with system capabilities\nUtilize tools such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Smartsheet, and other business analysis tools to document and present findings\nSupport business process transformation efforts, identifying opportunities for efficiency and optimization\nQualifications:\n8+ years of experience in business analysis, demonstrating how analysis contributed to business value, insights and process optimization\nExperience working in similar industries to Supermicro (technology, hardware, or manufacturing)\nStrong ability to engage stakeholders, ask the right questions, and construct meaningful business documentation\nFluency in English (reading, writing and speaking). Mandarin and Cantonese are a plus\nAbility to work in cross-functional environments and adapt to evolving business needs\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in organizations undergoing business process transformation\nExperience with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with Smartsheet\nTechnical writing experience is a plus\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical and structured thinker who can drive clarity and process improvement in a fast-moving organization.
