Supports onboarding and training of new team members.Reinforces department performance expectations and quality standards.Assists with workflow prioritization during staffing or volume fluctuations.ResponsibilitiesEssential FunctionsCustomer Service.Role models customer service excellence to meet and exceed customer service expectations.Adheres to organizational standards of behavior.Promotes Service Excellence.Staff ManagementManages staff scheduling, performance, coaching and discipline to ensure smooth operation in accordance with Health System policies.Collaborates with Manager to maintain adequate staffing, develop and monitor department goals and procedures.Completes performance reviews/ performance improvement plans as needed.Staff DevelopmentRecruits and retain top talent.Facilitates training of new staff.Develop and maintain department procedures.Creates environment for giving and receiving feedback.Rewards and recognizes staff of their achievements.Promotes Teamwork.OperationsResponsible for working with team to ensure 835’s and lockbox files have processed daily.Responsible for working with finance and account balancing staff to ensure we reconcile daily.Supervises our unassigned cash accounts.Supervises manual postings.ScheduleMon - Fri, 8:00am to 4:30pmJob DescriptionJob RequirementsEducationHigh school diploma, General Educational Development (GED) or equivalent required.College Degree in business related field preferred.ExperienceMinimum 2 years of business office or related experience required.Supervisory experience preferred.License/CertificationsN/ASkills/Knowledge/AbilitiesExcellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel/Word programs.Excellent written and verbal skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.Requires the ability to exercise independent problem solving skills, oversee and meet productivity and department goals.
