Position Type: Supplemental Pay Date Posted: 5/22/2026 Location: Hadley Junior High School District: Glen Ellyn School District 41 Glen Ellyn District 41 is Seeking a Special Olympics Coach Group V Responsibilities:Lead practices and skill development for student-athletesPromote inclusion, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a supportive environmentEnsure student safety and provide supervision during practices and eventsCommunicate with families and coordinate with Special Olympics staffAttend and support athletes at Special Olympics competitions and activities Qualifications:Experience working with students with intellectual or developmental disabilitiesStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsPatience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education and athleticsAbility to follow Special Olympics guidelines and school policiesCoaching or teaching experience preferred, but not required Application Procedures: Any GEEA member interested in applying for this position should complete the internal application here.
