The candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile environment and collaborating with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain highly available, scalable applications using Java and modern software design patterns.Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations.Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.Develop and execute unit, integration, and service-level tests to maintain high code quality and test coverage.Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.Deploy and manage applications using container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.Monitor application performance, reliability, scalability, and availability.Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, product teams, and other engineering groups.Participate in system design and architecture discussions and contribute to technical standards and best practices.Troubleshoot application, integration, cloud, and production issues.Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and software delivery activities.Required Skills & Experience:Java & Backend DevelopmentStrong hands-on Java development experience, preferably with Java 17/21/25.Strong experience with Spring Boot and microservices.Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.Strong understanding of API architecture and backend service development.Knowledge of high-availability, scalability, and distributed application design.AWS & Cloud TechnologiesStrong hands-on experience with AWS-native services.Experience with AWS technologies such as: AWS Lambda, Amazon EMR, Apache Spark, Amazon Kinesis, and other AWS cloud-native services.Experience deploying and managing cloud-based enterprise applications.DevOps & CI/CDHands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD.Strong experience with GitHub and version control practices.Experience with artifact repository tools such as Artifactory.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
