This role requires proactive technical support, results-driven software development, and maintaining critical software resources for hardware/software infrastructure on test stations across Cirrus Logic. The ideal candidate would provide essential support and drive initiatives forward to enhance internal tooling for both Validation Engineering and Product Test Engineering (PTE) organizations.\nResponsibilities\nAct as the go-to person for engineers, providing quick support with internal tools, resources, and guidance needed to move test projects forward\nQuickly respond to user requests and reported bugs to maintain critical operation of test instrumentation, control software for custom PCB devices, hardware modeling, and measurement data logging\nFacilitate communication with Validation and PTE engineers and managers to actively overcome obstacles and challenges in the project\nProvide feedback and insights to the PVT organization to proactively drive adoption and success of internal tools\nDevelop and maintain software tools and processes in a variety of programming languages and service any issues observed by the supported teams\nPresent and demonstrate new features for critical review and integrate feedback to enhance tool features\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nBS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 0 – 3 years of experience\nExcellent Python programming skills and a familiarity with multiple programming languages\nExperience developing code in a fast-paced environment while maintaining software best practices\nExperience with version control systems like Git\nExperience with OOP and software architectures\nAble to read simple circuit schematics and understand PCB boards layouts\nFamiliarity with measurement instrumentation and test equipment like Oscilloscope, DMM, and Function Generators\nFamiliarity with digital interface standards such as I2C, SPI, USB, I2S, TDM or UART\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across functional groups and organization\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications\nExperience with Product Test Engineering and automated test equipment (ATE)\nExperience with Validation Test Engineering\nExperience with Jenkins automation\nExperience with collaboration technologies like Atlassian’s JIRA/Confluence\nExperience with RESTful APIs\nExperience with data streaming applications\nExperience with software documentation tools like Sphinx\nExperience with local computer networking\nExperience with FPGA and embedded programming\nExperience in analog, digital and power electronics\nExperience with silicon product development\n#LI-CC1 #LI-Hybrid\n\nDiversity drives innovation at Cirrus Logic.
