Will also participate in the development of such company operating policies and procedures.\nResponsible for-profit management of assigned projects.\nFosters effective relationships with project team, as well as clients, vendors, subcontractors, etc.\nOversees the review and processing of submittals.\nManages subcontractor proposal requests, scope reviews and the issuing of subcontracts.\nResponsible for establishing and monitoring schedule of field and subcontractor progress.\nIssues large purchase orders.\nReviews, edits, and approves owner and general contractor contracts.\nAssists in the coordination, and perhaps the development, of safety programs, and oversees job site safety reviews.\nCoordinates and authorizes all job correspondence.\nIdentifies opportunities for future projects and networks internally and externally to pursue such opportunities.\nWBS and work pack management (Facilitate VC/MX)\nBuild, maintain and track project Schedule (CPM Schedules)\nHost weekly internal coordination meetings.\nResponsible for creating and tracking closeout process including all equipment startups QA/QC, Commissioning, and warranty.\nResponsible for nurturing the professional development and mentoring of the project team and others within the division, and assists in the performance assessment process for the team – may include providing job performance feedback or conducting performance assessments, etc.\nGathers, organizes, and documents project historical data and “lessons learned” to aid in the company’s productivity and project quality monitoring.\nResponsible for reinforcing the company’s core values in how the project work is performed, and in a broader context.\nFocus on building and maintaining long term relationships and overall business development.\n\nJob Scope:\nThe Executive Project Manager should possess the ability to manage at least $25 million revenue of work annually.\nThe Executive Project Manager should possess the ability to effectively manage multiple project teams simultaneously.\nThe Executive Project manager should be capable of overseeing projects in remote locations – from project procurement through closeout; to include the establishment and oversight of project teams.\n\nManagement Responsibility\nSupervisor – responsible for hiring, performance management and pay administration for subordinates. List supervised positions: Project Engineer, Project Manager, Project Controls Coordinator\nActs as a project manager – management of a project team, on which the individuals comprising the team may vary by project.\n\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree in Construction Science Management, Architectural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.\nEquivalent combination of field and leadership experience will be considered.\nExtensive experience in mechanical construction industry – minimum of 15 years.\nPrior experience as top level manager overseeing projects, schedules, budgets, and teams\nMust have diverse project management experience in types of mechanical construction projects – e.g. commercial, industrial, institutional.\nExperience as a member of a senior leadership and/or strategic planning team.\n\nKnowledge, skills, and abilities:\nExtensive knowledge of mechanical construction industry practices, processes, and standards.\nAbility to maximize performance of project team through innovative and effective management techniques.\nCompletely embraces all facets of corporate culture, and core values – serves as a role model within the organization.\nSuperior communication and interpersonal skills, such as diplomacy, persuasion, etc. are essential to develop and foster effective professional relationships.\nStrategic thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
