Responsibilities include leading virtual developer teams, evangelizing GenAI tools, and collaborating cross-functionally to create high-impact, secure software.\r\nLocation Hybrid based in Denver, Colorado. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance and be able to work on-site at least three days per week.\r\nResponsibilities Serve as governing lead for one or more teams of virtual developers using Cognition AI's Devin or comparable toolsets.\r\nCollaborate with Litera's engineering and product teams to design innovative GenAI-based products and features.\r\nResearch, evaluate, and document emerging AI technologies, development agents, and similar tools.\r\nAct as a GenAI evangelist, socially sharing new technologies across the engineering department.\r\nWrite clean, maintainable, extensible code with minimal defects.\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to complete tasks, manage priorities, estimates, deadlines, and deliverables.\r\nApply software and security best practices, including object-oriented design patterns, OWASP Top10, and SOLID principles.\r\nProduce documentation and evaluations of new technologies and their potential value for Litera.\r\nCoordinate with other groups to explore GenAI applications for current process challenges and inefficiencies.\r\nTranslate product and feature ideas into technical designs and development tasks.\r\nConduct sessions and webinars to disseminate knowledge throughout the engineering department.\r\nDefine new opportunities for leveraging GenAI to improve Litera products and organizational processes.\r\nPerform other duties as assigned.\r\nQualifications 10+ years of software development experience across the full stack, including .NET/.NETCore, ASP.NETCore, Web/REST APIs, React/Vue/Angular, SQL Azure or SQLServer, and PostgreSQL.\r\nDemonstrated track record of owning and delivering complex, ambiguous systems end-to-end.\r\nExceptional problem-solving ability with a bias toward pragmatic, high-impact solutions.\r\nExperience influencing technical direction, architecture, and engineering best practices.\r\nProduct mindset – ability to translate unclear requirements into well-defined systems.\r\nLeadership skills with a proven ability to elevate team performance through mentorship, standards, and example.\r\nPassion for pushing the boundaries of AI and redefining how software is built.\r\nComputer Science or Software Engineering degree (or equivalent experience).\r\nPreferred Qualifications Extensive experience building and scaling applications using .NET and React.\r\nHands-on experience with Large Language Models (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Anthropic) in production environments.\r\nDeep understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent-based architectures.\r\nExperience with Microsoft agent frameworks or similar orchestration systems.\r\nFamiliarity with AI-first development workflows using tools such as Devin, Claude, Cursor, or equivalent.\r\nStrong experience with GitHub, AzureDevOps, and modern CI/CD practices.\r\nProficiency with data systems, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud-native platforms (Azure preferred).\r\nBenefits Competitive salary range: $130,000 – $175,000 (paid in Colorado), eligibility for a company bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plans, generous paid time off, and supportive work-life balance.\r\nEEO Statement Litera is an equal opportunity employer.
