Confirm quality records are completed properly. Support determination of root cause for quality issues and aid in the process of troubleshooting. Sorting of suspect products. Audit mass production line stations. Support activities concerning quality improvement, quality systems development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products. This would include assisting all departments in countinous improvement activity to reduce waste related to lean manufacturing and follow up with line side improvements.\n\nPosition Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nManufacturing Line Support – Line Calls\nLine/Station and QCS/MCS Audits\nIn-house Changes PDCA (Abnormals, Quality Alerts, TWI's)\nQuality Improvement PDCA (Line Improvement meetings, PCN)\nCustomer Driven Change; Support (New Model & MP)\nPerform/Record/Evaluate Monthly Quality Specification Checks\nIATF Auditing\nOther Duties as Assigned\n\nSkills and Abilities:\n\nProven ability to make sound business decisions, exercise good judgment, be highly motivated\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy\nConfers with and prepares reports for upper management and possibly other Astemo companies\nMaintains clean and orderly work environment\nInteracts with various levels of associates\nMaintains knowledge of all processes, procedures, and equipment within Quality\nCoordinates and recommends cost savings and efficiency ideas for the facility\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization needed\nHigh degree of attention to detail for confirming technical documents\nGageTrak Support – Calibrations\nCMM Operation\n\nSoftware:\n\nBasic experience required in Windows, MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint\nRequirements:\n\nQualifications:\n\nRequirements:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nMinimum of 2-year related work experience\nKnowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n2-year College Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technology, or Quality or Other Engineering\nIATF Auditor certification\n\nEssential to Job Functions:\n\nStanding, walking, and bending for the duration of the workday\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds\nVisual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen\nFull Motor Skills\n\nWork Environment:\n\nRequires less than 5% travel\nFactory Setting with Noise\n\nEquipment Used:\n\nPersonal Computer\nBasic Measuring Devices\n\nWhy Astemo?\n\nAt Astemo, Harmony, Sincerity and Pioneering Spirit are practiced values - we respect each other, never pass the buck and work creatively to accomplish our mission.
