Salary is commensurate with experience, and the position includes a competitive benefits package.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nPerform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.\nEnsure project schedules and reports are updated and being met.\nCoordinate on-site meetings with Construction Superintendents on a weekly basis and OAC meetings biweekly.\nMaintain ongoing relationships with subcontractors and other related parties.\nReview construction documents for accuracy and potential cost-saving alternatives.\nAssist the development team in procuring permits and approvals from local authorities.\nDetermine, investigate, and qualify appropriate resources for the project.\nAssist in the bidding process, review qualified bids, and prepare a bid summary analysis for approval.\nReview and/or prepare construction contracts in coordination with the development team.\nCoordinate required testing and inspections. Review results for compliance.\nProvide construction administration throughout the construction process, including problem resolution and dealing with the day-to-day issues of the construction process. Coordinate the RFI and submittal process to follow the construction documents.\nReview all Requests for Change Orders and prepare Change Orders for approval.\nReview Pay Applications for accuracy and percent complete.\nCoordinate for punch list inspection and follow up to ensure punch list is timely completed and notifications are processed.\nEnsure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule.\nMonitor construction budget and scheduled dates are met.\n· Job type is full-time and in person.\nQualifications and Skills\n· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, preferred but not required.\n· 5 years of proven experience in construction management or project management within the construction industry.\n· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.\n· Must work well with all other employees, vendors, subcontractors, etc.\n· Must be able to accurately review and detail plan take-off for material acquisitions\n· Effective planner and well organized.
