This role is responsible for identifying training opportunities, developing and delivering classroom and on-the-job training, supporting electrical onboarding and certification programs, and helping improve electrical quality, safety, and performance.\n\nWHY JOIN US:\n\nBe part of a team leading sustainable bus and motorcoach solutions.\nSalary: $80,000 - $90,000 annually and comprehensive benefit package with Immediate benefit eligibility.\nPaid holidays and vacation\n401k with generous company match\nPassionate about creatinga better product, a better workplace, and a better world\nInclusive workplace culture that values and empowers team members\nOn-the-job training in a continuous learning environment (we invested $11.9 million in 2025)\nAdvancement opportunities within our family of companies.\n\nRequirements\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\n\nDeliver practical and technical training to the Electrical Department while collaborating with the Learning Institute to plan, select resources for, and execute development programs that ensure a skilled workforce.\nPartnerwith customers, managers, and the Learning Institute to establish performance standards, assess competency gaps, and define targeted training needs across the Electrical Department.\nManage Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to electrical safety standards and proactively report and correct unsafe practices or workplace conditions.\nMentor the Electrical Cell Team in observing, drafting, and refining Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Performance Qualification Standards (PQSs).\nAnalyze measures of performance (MOPs) relevant to the area of specialization, root cause and determine if relevant training interventions are necessary.\nSupport in the development of training methods such as evaluation and validation and determine the effectiveness of the training to validate the cost benefit.\nLead Learning Institute administrative processes, including course material preparation, attendance tracking, course evaluations, and Training Matrix maintenance\nIdentifies, develops and organizes electrical resources in cooperation with Electrical Leadership to schedule electrical personnel required to participate in any classroom and/or on-the-job training.\n\nWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in an electrical technician role with a focus of on-the-Job training (OJT) techniques and utilization of training plans and conducting practical training.\nDeep understanding of engineering schematics/drawings, with the ability to interpret and apply them in practical applications.\nAbility to interpret and apply electrical data sheets.\nStrong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple training programs and priorities simultaneously.\nElectrical certification, diploma, or degree from a post-secondary institution preferred, or equivalent related work experience.\n\nBenefits\n\nOUR WHY: We exist to move people.
