This crucial role will be steering our clients toward success in the competitive government contracting sector!\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nClient Accounting Tasks:\nCultivate and enhance the role of Controller function for our esteemed client base\nProvide integral support for Internal Controls Management\nCollaborate on Direct and Indirect Cost Budgets\nMonitor Indirect Rates, facilitating adjustments and Intercompany Allocations as necessary\nContribute to Forward and Proposal Pricing endeavors as required\nConduct thorough Financial Reviews\nConduct periodic management consultation meetings\nFacilitate and oversee Audit Readiness initiatives\nDevelop, implement, and enforce comprehensive Internal and External Accounting Policies and Procedures\nEnsure strict compliance with FAR, DCAA, GAAP, and CAS regulations\nAssist Budgeting, Forecasting, Benchmarking, and Cash Reporting and Management efforts\nAssist with Incurred Cost Submission preparation\nReview month-end closings and distribute financial reports to all clients promptly each month\nAssist with complex reconciliations and problem-solving\nProvide support for tax inquiries and audits conducted by third-party CPA firms\nConduct and support 1408 assessments and accounting ecosystem evaluations\nPerform any additional duties as assigned\nClient Account Management:\nOffer support for business development initiatives as directed\nOversee performance of all client accounting activities, ensuring successful execution\nFacilitate the seamless onboarding of new clients\nLead internal and client status meetings with confidence\nEnsure a remarkable 95% client retention rate annually\nManagement Responsibilities:\nMaintain a robust 70-80% utilization rate as Controller\nSupervise and manage personnel effectively\nProvide guidance, supervision, and training for less experienced team members\nManage client workload for assigned clients, ensuring utilization goals are met consistently\nSupport and mentor our accounting staff in their daily responsibilities\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred\n7+ years of experience in finance/accounting, with a focus on government contracts across various types\nMust be a US Citizen\nSolid command of FASB and GAAP principles\nAdvanced knowledge of CAS, FAR, and DFARs regulations\nExpertise in all accounting and financial transactions, including cost review, account reconciliation, and adjustments\nProactive, service-oriented approach with strong communication, project management, and leadership skills\nMust have strong analytical thinking skills and be a self-starter\nProficiency in Microsoft Office tools and web-based applications\nExperience with accounting systems such as Unanet, Quickbooks, or Deltek Costpoint; experience in multiple systems preferred\nAdaptability, flexibility, and a keen sense of humor in a dynamic environment\nStrong ability to plan ahead, manage multiple clients, and maintain focus while juggling priorities\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nBOOST LLC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
