In this role, you will be responsible for marketing available properties, qualifying prospective tenants, and guiding clients through the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing. This is a full-time field-based role at our Hudson Piers development, located in Yonkers, NY. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is committed to delivering an exceptional client experience.Key Responsibilities:Market and advertise available rental units across digital platforms, MLS, and social media channelsConduct property showings and open houses for prospective tenants in a professional mannerScreen and qualify applicants through credit checks, background verifications, and income documentationNegotiate and execute lease agreements in compliance with local, state, and federal housing lawsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of available units, showings, and applicant statusBuild and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective tenants to ensure high occupancy ratesCoordinate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure units are move-in readyTrack market trends, rental rates, and competitor activity to provide strategic leasing recommendationsRespond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and online portals to maximize lead conversionAssist in preparing move-in/move-out documentation, inspection reports, and lease renewalsRequired Qualifications:Active New York state real estate licenseMinimum 3 years of experience in real estate leasing, sales, or other related activities in the real estate industryStrong knowledge of fair housing laws and landlord-tenant regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skillsExperienced in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to work weekendsPreferred Qualifications:Proficiency with property management software (e.g. Yardi/RentCafe)Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing toolsBilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a strong plusCompensation & Benefits:Extell offers opportunities for professional growth and advancement; and competitive pay and benefits to include:$80,000 - $90,000 salaryMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany paid Life and AD&D InsuranceCompany paid Short and Long Term Disability401(k)Paid Time OffPaid HolidaysEmployee Assistance Program
