The Processing Plant Worker serves as an important role keeping all equipment operational in a safe efficient manner. The objective of the position is to provide a safe, cost effective working environment, while operating under Prometheus Polymers’ guidelines and procedures.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nProcessing plastic material. This includes categorizing, sorting, and preparing plastic products for use in the production process\nOperating grinding equipment\nOperating a 6” extrusion compounding line\nOperating Polyethylene pulverizes\nLoading and unloading trucks\nConducting light equipment maintenance and general plant labor\nAll other duties as assigned\n\nKNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required\nMechanical aptitude\nAcute attention to details\nMust be able to work with little to no supervision\nKnowledge and understanding of polymers are a plus but not required\nWillingness to adapt in an evolving environment\nInnate sense of urgency that provides proactive and consistent work\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThis job operates in a manufacturing setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear while performing other projects.
