The ideal candidate will bring a combination of SQL Server administration, Windows server management, and system troubleshooting expertise.\n\nResponsibilities\nAdminister, maintain, and support Microsoft SQL Server environments\nMonitor database performance, health, and availability\nPerform database backups, patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities\nSupport Windows Server administration and system operations\nInstall, configure, and maintain server-based applications and software platforms\nDevelop and troubleshoot T-SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures\nAssist with system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning\nSupport virtualized infrastructure and cloud-based environments\nCollaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders\nMaintain documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations\nParticipate in production deployments and change management activities\nTroubleshoot complex issues across databases, servers, and integrated systems\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server environments\nStrong experience with SQL Server technologies, including database performance tuning and monitoring\nExperience with T-SQL scripting and SQL Server management tools\nExperience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments\nFamiliarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware\nExperience with PowerShell or other automation/scripting tools\nKnowledge of Active Directory administration\nExperience supporting enterprise production environments\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nExcellent communication and documentation skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure\nExposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD environments\nFamiliarity with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS\nExperience with system monitoring and performance management tools\nIIS administration experience\nKnowledge of high-availability and disaster recovery solutions\nExposure to container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes\nExperience working in regulated or compliance-focused environments\nAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
