They will also adhere to all processing and sorting procedures to maintain quality and accuracy.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSort and process all incoming mail and parcels, aligning with designated area requirements and maintaining our high-quality standards.\nEnsure sorting and processing targets are met or exceeded consistently.\nInspect each piece of mail to ensure the labels are affixed correctly and the zip code on the label matches the address zip code.\nOperating sorting machinery which may include loading cardboard boxes (Gaylords) and/or bins and rapidly placing mail/parcels onto conveyors.\nScan labels and maintain workstation.\nMaintain cleanliness of work area\nFlexibility to adapt to different operational areas as needed to support the business.\nEssential duties are not necessarily exhaustive and may be supplemented or otherwise revised by DHL at its sole discretion.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School or equivalent training and/or related experience preferred.\nREQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:\nListen actively and execute verbal instructions effectively.\nAbility to sort alphabetically and numerically.\nUnderstand standardized math processes, e.g., count, addition, and subtraction.\nThrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and maintain a consistent performance over extended periods.\nCollaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.\nExcel in a role that involves well-outlined procedures and clear instructions.\nBuild strong working relationships by regularly engaging with team members.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nWalk, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
