Enterprise Data Steward
The Enterprise Data Steward is responsible for establishing, governing, and maintaining a unified enterprise data model that supports a single CRM platform, a single Finance and Accounting system, and the consolidation of multiple business units into a single, trusted system of record.This role ensures data consistency, integrity, and usability across the organization by defining data standards, developing an organizational data dictionary, and aligning and mapping data from multiple source systems into a normalized enterprise structure.The Enterprise Data Steward works cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Operations, Sales, and Executive stakeholders to ensure that master data and transactional data are accurate, well-defined, and fit for enterprise reporting, analytics, and operational execution.RequirementsShape the foundation of how our enterprise uses data—today and into the future.What You'll Own & DriveEnterprise Data Governance & StrategyDefine, champion, and enforce enterprise-wide data standards, naming conventions, and governance policies across CRM, Finance, and supporting platformsServe as the authoritative steward of enterprise data definitions, ensuring clarity, consistency, and trustPartner with business leaders to align data structures with operational, financial, analytical, and reporting needsSystem Consolidation & Data IntegrationPlay a critical role in building and refining a single source of truth—one CRM and one Finance & Accounting platformLead data alignment and field-level mapping from multiple legacy systems into a unified enterprise data modelEnsure consistent data interpretation across business units during system migrations and integrationsOrganizational Data DictionaryDesign, develop, and govern the enterprise data dictionaryClearly define data elements, business rules, ownership, lineage, and systems of recordKeep documentation accurate, accessible, and up to date as processes and platforms evolveMaster Data Management (MDM)Normalize and govern enterprise master data, including:CustomerItem / ProductServiceLabor / ResourceVendor & Financial mastersEstablish rules for master record creation, maintenance, deduplication, and lifecycle managementEnsure master data consistency across CRM, Finance, ERP, and reporting environmentsData Quality & IntegrityDefine and monitor enterprise data quality standards and validation rulesProactively identify data issues, analyze root causes, and drive corrective actionsPartner with system owners and business teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrenceCross-Functional Collaboration & Change EnablementAct as a trusted liaison between IT, Finance, Operations, Sales, and external implementation partnersTranslate business needs into structured data definitions and mappingsSupport change management and user adoption as data standards and systems evolveWhat You BringRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience supporting enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, or financial platformsStrong understanding of data modeling, relational data structures, and system-of-record principlesHands-on experience with data mapping, normalization, and master data managementAbility to clearly document complex data concepts for both technical and non-technical audiencesPreferred QualificationsExperience working in multi-business-unit environments or during mergers and system consolidationsFamiliarity with CRM platforms, ERP/Finance systems, and enterprise data warehousesExperience building or maintaining enterprise data dictionaries and governance frameworksStrong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detailWhat Sets You ApartA passion for data governance and stewardshipConfidence influencing and collaborating across functionsStrength in structured documentation and standards developmentBig-picture, systems-oriented thinkingA continuous improvement mindset—you're always looking for a better wayJ-18808-Ljbffr
