This includes piece count and ensuring product is damage and infestation free as well as ensuring the lot and date codes are properly recorded. Tasks include but are not limited to repetitive and moderately complex rework, product testing, block coding, and inspection processes. In general, the LTL Auditor assures the quantity, quality, addressing and labeling of orders corresponds to customer specifications or other requirements.Pay: $16.00 per hourPrimary ResponsibilitiesPerform audits on select completed orders and verify that the product selected matches what was ordered.Apply appropriate labels to each pallet order according to customer and hazmat regulations.Once an audit is complete, they must contact the lead then correct the errors discovered prior to the order being sent outSurface issues, which can pose risk to the company, to management’s attentionAudits products on pallets by starting on bottom of pallet and going from pallet to pick ticketEnsures all small, crushable, and loose products are properly repacked/repickedEnsures address labels are correct by verifying against pick ticketEnsures BOL is completed correctlyUnderstand, support, and execute all work in the established procedures, methods and working requirementsImplements and maintains department policies and standards Perform any other related duties as required or assignedUnderstand, support, and execute all work in a safe manner using the established procedures, methods, and safe working requirementsHaving the ability to support picking and packing if neededImplements and maintains department policies and standardsPerform any other related duties as required or assignedKnowledge Skills And AbilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalent6 months-2 years of auditing experienceExperience in Freight/Pallet Auditing, Operations or LogisticsStrong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skillsAbility to either stand or sit for extended periodsAbility to bend, push, pull, reach, grab, turn, twist, and/or stopAbility to grab small parts or hand tools with handsPhysical RequirementsEssential functions of this job require the following minimal physical demands.
