Job Title: Electrician HelperJob DescriptionJoin our team as an Electrician Helper, where you will play a crucial role in assisting with the removal and installation of commercial light fixtures, including LED panels, troffers, wall packs, and emergency lights. You will also support electrical receptacle and switch changes under supervision and participate in device upgrades for renovations, tenant improvements, and maintenance work.ResponsibilitiesAssist with removing and installing commercial light fixtures.Help change out electrical receptacles and switches under supervision.Support device upgrades for renovations, tenant improvements, and maintenance work.Shut down circuits and verify power is off using testing equipment as directed.Prepare fixtures and devices for installation through assembly, labeling, and staging.Pull and connect branch circuit wiring for fixtures and devices under supervision.Install cover plates, trims, and related hardware.Maintain clean work areas, especially in occupied commercial spaces.Adhere to NEC and company safety procedures at all times.Properly handle and dispose of old fixtures and materials. Essential SkillsBasic understanding of wiring, conduit, and blueprint reading.Familiarity with construction in commercial and residential settings.Experience with light fixtures, light assembly, and renovation projects.Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under supervision.
