Leidos is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.\n\nLocation\nThis position will be hybrid remote. Candidates will be required to work onsite as needed. Preferred candidates will be located near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) or work in Huntsville, AL.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\n\nDesign, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines for secure, automated software delivery.\n\nAssist with the implementation of DevSecOps pipelines across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.\n\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.\n\nDeploy, configure, and support applications in cloud environments.\n\nSupport availability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems.\n\nHelp maintain virtualized and hybrid cloud environments to meet performance and security requirements.\n\nImplement and support automated security tools for vulnerability scanning, SAST/DAST, and container security.\n\nIn-depth experience with Java.\n\nIn-depth experience integrating with and delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices.\n\nDirect experience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as Junit and scripting languages such as Python, and Bash while working in an Agile development environment.\n\nCollaborate with developers, QA, security, and operations teams to support secure software delivery.\n\nFollow established DevSecOps standards, processes, and best practices.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelors and 2+ years of applicable experience or a Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.\n\nDoD Secret clearance required.\n\nUS citizenship required.\n\nCertifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2).\n\nWorking knowledge of DevSecOps principles and Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).\n\nExperience supporting or administering cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).\n\nExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.\n\nFamiliarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).\n\nProficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Java, Go).\n\nUnderstanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and version control tools (Git).\n\nStrong collaboration and customer service skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience supporting DoD or USAF cloud environments (e.g., Cloud One, Platform One).\n\nFamiliarity with Zero Trust concepts.\n\nCloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle).\n\nExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK.\n\nExposure to security scanning, compliance frameworks, or DevSecOps automation.\n\nCommitment to Non-Discrimination\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, race, ethnicity, age, national origin, citizenship, religion, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, family structure, marital status, ancestry, domestic partner status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran or military status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
