The Logistics Data Analyst turns complex supply chain and logistics data into clear, actionable insights that improve service, reduce cost, and increase operational efficiency. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision making across Transportation, Distribution, Customer Service, Commercial, Finance, and IT. With a focus on performance analytics, reporting automation, and data governance, this individual will help elevate visibility across the end-to-end supply chain and support continuous improvement through scalable tools and standardized metrics.What You'll Do:Drive Performance Visibility & InsightsDevelop and manage KPIs across transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillmentAnalyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesTranslate business needs into clear, data-driven insights and recommendationsEnable Reporting Automation & Data IntegrityBuild and automate dashboards and reporting (Power BI, Alteryx, etc.)Improve real-time visibility while reducing manual reporting effortEnsure data accuracy and consistency across ERP, WMS, TMS, and other systemsSupport Transformation & Continuous ImprovementEvaluate logistics processes and identify opportunities to improve service and costPartner with IT and cross-functional teams to enhance analytics capabilitiesSupport implementation of new tools, processes, and reporting frameworksInfluence Through Data & CollaborationAlign stakeholders on KPI definitions, reporting standards, and insightsCommunicate findings through clear, compelling data storytellingBring external best practices and innovative approaches to analyticsWhat Success Looks Like:Data you can trust: Consistent, accurate, and standardized metrics across systems and teamsFaster, smarter decisions: Leaders have real-time visibility and actionable insights at their fingertipsAutomation at scale: Manual reporting is significantly reduced through streamlined dashboards and toolsTangible business impact: Insights directly contribute to improved service levels, cost savings, and operational efficiencyAdoption of tools & processes: Teams actively use and rely on new analytics capabilitiesStronger cross-functional alignment: Clear, shared understanding of performance across Logistics, Operations, and Commercial teamsWhat You Bring:Experience & EducationBachelor's degree required (Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred)5–7 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and dashboard development2-3 years of experience in supply chain preferredCPG experience preferredTechnical SkillsAdvanced Excel (data modeling, complex formulas, macros, etc.)Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, or similar toolsWorking knowledge of ERP, WMS, TMS, and SQL-based data environmentsCapabilitiesStrong technical skills, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills requiredAbility to structure ambiguous problems into clear analysesEffective communicator with strong data storytelling skillsProven ability to collaborate and influence across functionsContinuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma a plus)BIC World is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
