In this role, you will be responsible for insurance policy and coverage form reviews, risk financing structure evaluations, designing program structures, conducting research on regulatory requirements, and more.\nThe ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in program development, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. If you are a strategic thinker, detail-oriented, and have a passion for delivering high-quality programs, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity as our Program Director.\n\nHow you'll make an impact\n\nResponsible for driving the overall client strategy in order to meet and exceed client expectations and growth goals\nLeverage knowledge of the clients to manage this book of business, which includes renewals and growth of existing accounts.\nCoordinate involvement of company personnel including service and local leadership to meet or exceed strategic objectives, conducting stewardship reviews, developing/executing strategic plans that will achieve our clients' goals while contributing profitable growth for the company\nWork closely with the service team to ensure both a timely resolution and satisfactory outcome to client issues.\n\nNew Program Development:\nAct as main point of contact on pooling and captive clients\nDesign program structure recommendations\nCoordinate vendor services for legal, captive/program management, actuary; review contracts\nReview governing documents (membership/participation agreements)\nPrepare and/or review required regulatory submissions and participate in meetings with regulators\nDesign underwriting applications\nOversight of the renewal processing, including collecting data for actuarial analysis, reviewing actuarial analyses, and establishing underwriting and rating guidelines\nManuscript new policy wording; all lines of coverage\nCoordinate broker placement of primary, excess/reinsurance and ancillary lines including market submission, proposal reviews, and recommendations\nBoard and Captive Support:\nCoordinate vendor items\nPrepare agendas and meeting materials\nCoordinate travel/meeting logistics\nReview financial audits and required regulatory filings\nProvide peer-review support as needed\nRequest for Proposals:\nResearch and provide participant recommendations\nDraft materials specific to client requirements\nManage process, timeline, and communications to client and participants\nReview and provide detailed analysis of proposals\nCoordinate and participate in oral interviews\nProvide client with general observations and recommendation for consideration\nOther Services:\nReview and recommend coverage enhancements for existing programs\nPrepare detailed coverage comparisons and coverage analysis\nReview legislative changes impacting programs; provide recommendations for changes\nReview and monitor program invoices for accuracy and compliance\n\nAbout You\n\nBachelor's degree and 6 years related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 10 years related experience required.\nWillingness to travel as needed (up to 20%)\nPreferred:\nAdditional designations such as CPCU, ARM, CIC, etc.\nProperty and casualty producer’s license (life and health license preferred, but not required)\nPrior experience using a sales management tool\nProfessional designation related to life & health\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skills\nKeen problem-solving skills; focusing solutions on the root cause\nStrong project management skills\nProven ability to create and implement a system or program\nStrong technical insurance (policies and various property and casualty coverage forms) knowledge\nBehaviors:\nSuccessfully manage competing priorities\nProficient using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality\nBuild collaborative and mutually meaningful relationships with internal and external clients\nComfortably engage others in a consultative sales dialogue\n\n#LI-LB3\n#LI-Remote\n\nCompensation and benefits\n\nAt Gallagher, we believe supporting our colleagues goes far beyond the role itself.
