{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"adcd965cb8c4f6faa516b05b","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/adcd965cb8c4f6faa516b05b","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/adcd965cb8c4f6faa516b05b","title":"Network Engineer III","description":"Overview:\nThe Network Engineer III serves as the Senior Network Engineer Level II for the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network Labor Contract to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the DLIFLC Academic Network which provides the IT environment for 100% of the DLIFLC teaching and instructing for all students, staff, faculty, and guests in a learning environment at the unclassified level.\nResponsibilities:\nResponsibilities include wired and wireless network performance monitoring, network optimization, testing, IT project management, implementation of network security controls, advanced troubleshooting and analyzing all elements of the network infrastructure.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\n\nBA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years experience with any one of the following: IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification.\nExperience include 5 years of progressive experience in computer system/network engineering, including 2 years of specialized experience related to the tasks.\nCCNA or CCNP or equivalent computing environment certification requirements; 7 years documented experience in addition to previously stated experience requirements can be used as equivalent for certification.\nAdvanced knowledge or experience with management of Palo Alto Networks firewall policy and content management, PAN OS management and threat monitoring and\ndetection; wireless network deployment, implementation, configuration and management.\nExperience with HPE Aruba Wireless Networking architecture or similar (ie. Extreme Networks or Cisco). Advanced knowledge of policy management, troubleshooting and upgrading network access control system.\nExperience with Aruba ClearPass or similar NAC system (i.e. Cisco ISE).\nSecret Clearance\n\nSalary Range: $135,000 - $147,000\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline.
