Job Description The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) plays a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures within a small team environment. This position involves maintaining sterile conditions, managing surgical equipment, and closely monitoring patient status throughout operations. The OR RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to deliver exceptional patient care and uphold infection control standards.At Wellbridge Surgical, we also focus on our employee's work-life balance; this includes no call, no nights, no weekends, and no holidays.ResponsibilitiesMaintain sterile field and ensure aseptic technique during surgeriesManage surgical instruments and equipment before, during, and after proceduresContinuously monitor patient status in the operating roomCollaborate effectively with a small surgical team of 3-5 membersDocument surgical procedures, patient information, and updates accuratelyImplement infection control protocols to minimize risk Required QualificationsAssociate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Preferred Qualifications2+ years of experience in perioperative nursingRegistered Nurse (RN) licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationProficiency in perioperative nursing and sterile techniqueStrong patient assessment and anesthesia awareness skillsExcellent team communication and critical thinking abilitiesKnowledge of infection control standards and practices
