And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.\nRole Overview\nThe Senior DevOps Engineer is a key member of the Platform Engineering Analytics team, responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, and continuous delivery pipelines that support scalable, high-quality SaaS products. This role combines hands-on AWS operations, DevOps automation, infrastructure management, and production support while driving improvements in deployment speed, reliability, and system performance. The Senior DevOps Engineer will also serve as a technical mentor and thought leader within the engineering organization.\n\nHow Will You Make an Impact?\nPartner with the Content Analytics team to develop and execute DevOps-related initiatives and user stories.\nDesign, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, Kinesis, and CloudFormation.\nManage Docker containers and containerized microservices environments.\nBuild, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.\nManage daily DevOps operations, including build systems, release management, and artifact repositories.\nPerform ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and support for production and non-production environments.\nDesign and implement automated quality gates and release validation processes.\nEvaluate, prototype, and introduce new technologies that improve automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.\nTroubleshoot production issues, performance bottlenecks, outages, and security incidents.\nCollaborate closely with agile development teams to improve software delivery processes.\nMentor and train DevOps and Software Engineers on best practices and emerging technologies.\nParticipate in occasional after-hours or weekend support when required.\n\nHave You Got What It Takes?\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n6+ years of experience working within software development organizations.\n3+ years of experience building and managing Docker containers and containerized microservices.\nStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.\nProficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Bash.\nHands-on AWS experience, including:\nEC2\nS3\nCloudWatch\nLambda\nKinesis\nCloudFormation\nRDS\nExperience building, maintaining, and operating CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as:\nChef\nPuppet\nCloudFormation\nStrong understanding of DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and automation best practices.\nAbility to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.\nStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams.\nCore Technical Skills\nAWS Cloud Services\nDocker\nMicroservices Architecture\nLinux Administration\nPython\nBash / Shell Scripting\nCI/CD Pipelines\nCloudFormation\nInfrastructure Automation\nDevOps Best Practices\nRelease Engineering\nProduction Operations\nTroubleshooting & Incident Response\nAbout NiCE\nNICE Ltd.
