The Prattville Mill is a complex, fully integrated pulp and paper manufacturing facility with two machines. The mill includes multiple process lines of wood handling, pulping, power and recovery, and effluent treatment. The position works within the Finished Products group and reports to the Area Process Manager.\r\nThe Job You Will Perform\r\nThe Finished Products Operations Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and direction of field day and outage activities for the paper machines in a manner that delivers targeted results in the areas of safety, environmental, reliability, quality, productivity, cost, and employee engagement. The OMC is expected to…\r\nAccountable for safe work execution;\r\nThe overall functionality of the manufacturing Work System (MWS) program and directly accountable for its success as the team leader;\r\nConducting the daily MWS meetings and ensuring the agenda is strictly followed;\r\nScheduling the proper work to ensure process reliability;\r\nCommunicate the daily and weekly maintenance plan including the prep and process plan to execute;\r\nProvide feedback and approval on work completion satisfaction;\r\nSystem shutdown, isolation, and preparation for maintenance work;\r\nCreation of System Zero Energy State (ZES) and Group Lockout/Tagouts (LOTO);\r\nWork permitting (hot work, confined space entry, line breaking, etc.).\r\nWork with maintenance supervisors to determine break-in work and overtime needs;\r\nManage the when down do list;\r\nBe a steward of predictive and precision maintenance practices and programs;\r\nDaily reviews of new work notifications for the area ensuring that all notifications have been properly screened, identified and prioritized;\r\nAchieving MWS metrics such as % break in work, schedule adherence, precision maintenance completion, Reliability Recordables, etc.\r\nReviewing the complete area backlog weekly with the Maintenance supervisors to update priorities, purge the backlog of unneeded or completed work and develop a work schedule for the following week;\r\nReviewing Operator Round Sheets and Basic Care Route Reports for issues, communicating with Operators for details and ensuring that a notification has been written;\r\nCoordinating Field Day activities, including MS Project timelines, work tracking, job progress and operational readiness;\r\nCoordinating Annual Outage activities, including MS Project timelines, work tracking, job progress and operational readiness;\r\nSchedule and conduct outage critique meetings; document, publish and post meeting notes;\r\nAchieving monthly budgeted spending, including annual outages and repair jobs;\r\nEnsuring a temporary OMC is always designated to perform all MWS duties when absent from the mill;\r\nProvide Area Manager coverage in his/her absence\r\nThe Skills You Will Bring\r\nThis position requires a B.S.
