This hands-on role supports skilled tradespeople in the construction of custom Fire Safety Training Trailers and Fire Training Props. The ideal candidate has a foundational knowledge of construction, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow direction in a team-based manufacturing environment.Position Details:Location: 20 Corporate Circle, Albany, NY, 12203Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.Starting Rate: $18.00 - $26.00 per hourEssential Functions:Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other general construction tasksSafely operate hand tools, power tools, and saws in accordance with common safety practicesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all timesPerform general labor tasks to support production schedules and project deadlinesEducation & Experience Qualifications:Required:High School Diploma or GEDPrior experience in construction, carpentry, or a related tradesGeneral knowledge of construction tasks, common tools and tape measure proficiencyAbility to follow verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a teamAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical laborWillingness to Travel ~10%Preferred but not required:Familiarity with construction drawings or blueprintsExperience with basic electrical constructionExperience with welding, brazing, or propane gas pipingEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
