{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"adba17433b464f0c6493d33f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/adba17433b464f0c6493d33f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/adba17433b464f0c6493d33f","title":"Structured Cabling Installer - Utah","description":"Structured Cabling Installer SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Structured Cabling Installer that will be responsible for safely assisting Cabling Technicians on hyperscale data center projects.  Duties include material handling, installation, assembling and dismantling of low voltage carrier systems , preparing work areas, and cleaning of workspaces. RESPONSIBILITIES Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit utilizing various hand tools Safely utilize hand and power tools after proper training (drills, crimpers, cutters, etc.) Lift, position, and fasten objects Prepare, handle, and supply materials and tools to be used by electrical trades Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment Work under immediate and close supervision according to standard instructions and established procedures Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels All other duties as assigned  QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GEDSome construction and/or electrical experienceCurrent driver’s licenseLimited ability to read and interpret documents (safety regulations, blueprints, etc.Ability to work with power and non-powered hand toolsWillingness to follow instructions and ask clarifying questionsAbility to work safely with electrical equipmentKnowledge of electrical systemsAbility to handle materials weighing up to 200 lbsStrong teamwork orientationPositive attitude and professional customer service skillsActive listening and effective communication skillsAbility to frequently work in heat and other weather conditionsFrequently crouch, kneel, squat, climbRepetitive hand, arm, leg movement*Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.Please note: this position description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of the duties and responsibilities of the position.
